Ghoti Hook began as a jokey pop punk band under the popular underground label Tooth and Nail in the mid-90s. After two less-than-serious albums and a cover album, Ghoti Hook released a much more serious full-length titled Two Years to Never with a harder, classic rock sound. The band has said on occassion that they would rather forget their pop punk days and that Ghoti Hook never really started until they changed their sound. The band's final show was in 2002 at the Cornerstone Festival in Bushnell, Illinois. Their final show can now be viewed in its entirety on YouTube.
